Location

Groß-Zimmern is located around 15 km east of Darmstadt and borders the municipality of Messel and the town of Dieburg to the north, the town of Groß-Umstadt to the east, the municipality of Otzberg to the south-east, the town of Reinheim to the south and the municipality of Roßdorf and the independent city of Darmstadt to the west. Groß-Zimmern consists of the two districts of Groß-Zimmern and Klein-Zimmern.

It is a 7-minute drive to the center of Groß-Zimmern and approx. 17 minutes to Darmstadt.

Local public transport

There are several bus lines to Darmstadt. The bus journey between Groß-Zimmern and Darmstadt takes 20 minutes. The bus service runs several times an hour from Groß-Zimmern to Darmstadt.

Groß-Zimmern is about 5 minutes away from the B26, which is the direct link between Darmstadt and Aschaffenburg.

Upon arrival you can park in the Golf Akademie’s own underground car park and unload your luggage. There are plenty of spaces available in the underground car park, and these can be rented for the duration of your stay.

What is a serviced apartment?

So-called serviced apartments are functional, well-furnished rental properties. Well-equipped and well-designed, they serve as a comfortable retreat after a hard day at work. At the same time, they are a quiet place to work or to prepare for the challenges of the working day. Business apartments offer everything you need for a convenient stay: a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable atmosphere and smooth online check-in.

As a rule, guests have access to shared lounges and other facilities such as laundry rooms. The service element is a so-called “limited” service, which includes regular cleaning and changes of bedlinen and towels. Larger buildings may also have Guest Managers, whose role is to look after the well-being of clients. In some cases, additional services such as bicycle hire, co-working and fitness studios are also offered. A good mix of cooperation partners rounds off the range of services.

How does this differ from a hotel?

Serviced apartments offer the happy medium between hotel and furnished apartment. If you are looking for accommodation for a longer period and like to have a comfortable living environment while also enjoying certain service features, we feel that serviced apartments are the ideal choice. Compared to hotels, serviced apartments often feel more like a home and are usually bigger too. They offer greater privacy while remaining less anonymous.

At the same time, the room prices are significantly less than those of a hotel. Serviced apartments are designed for people who envisage spending a prolonged period of time in a city and may even wish to live there long-term. The main service features are included in the price. The Long Stay rates – for a stay of one month or more – are calculated independent of trade fairs.

What are the minimum and maximum rental terms?

In general, you can book a serviced apartment for a period of 3 nights to 6 months. However, this varies according to the location.
